Greetings!! We hope that you all survived the frigid temperatures!
Thinking back to last week now seems so long ago, but we definitely enjoyed having today off!
Tuesday, my sister and her friend Millie came up to visit us for dinner. Jaxson made Millie play cars with him the whole time. They both witnessed Vada trying to eat our entire kitchen...and her meltdowns!
My mom called on Wednesday to see if she could take the kids for a night over the weekend. Presten was very excited about it because he would have some time to work on our never ending bathroom project. I had already had plans to go scrapbooking so he had the night to work away with no distractions. Well....needless to say things did not go as planned. Presten, called me at 7:30 and told me he was finishing up at Benihana's! What? He then told me that his district and regional manager wanted to take him out for scoring so high on his audit. He was the first store in the entire company to be audited and as of Friday still had the highest score, so that was exciting. He told me that he was off to Home Depot and was going to get a couple things done on the bathroom. GREAT!! He then called at 10:30 and said he just walked in the door!! WHAT!! He decided to go out with all of them to Claddagh's after dinner! So all this extra time to work on the bathroom and we got nothing accomplished! The story of our life! :) Luckily with having today off we have made some progress and hopefully can start painting this week...we'll see!
The kids had so much fun at grandma's! Vada has been teething so she has been a little crabby, but she did great! After we picked the kids up we decided to stop for dinner. Vada had chicken, which we cut up off the bone for her, but she wanted the bone and after the ear piercing screaming in the restaurant we gave in! What a turkey!
Today, we had a play date with the neighbors. We took the kids down to the Maple Grove Maze. The kids just ran and ran! Vada is big enough now to up and down on everything all by herself! She was so proud!
Now back to work and school, but we are excited for the short week!
We hope all is well! The Bean's
