Vada and Paisley
Burrrr! It is COLD out there!
It was so nice to have a short, but I think that it is still throwing my days off. The week just flew by. On Thursday we attended a Winter Holiday party for St. David's. We rented out one of the movie theaters at the Cinema Grill in New Hope. Pre-show we play Scene it Disney on the big screen. We were even the winning team! Presten sure knows his movies! The movie of the night was "Bedtime Stories" -it was alright, we left in the middle of it because the kids needed to get back and go to bed. Vada is definitely not a movie goer- she had absolutely no interest, which is actually probably a good thing at the moment. She thought she was soo funny running up and down the isles. Laughing and hiding and giggling!
Jaxson is very excited about Barack Obama being our President! Presten and I were listening to him play one morning and he was playing with his little action figures. Here was the conversation- "guess what we have a new president and his name is Barack Obama, isn't that cool?! Here we come!" He gets so excited when he sees him! I know that he does not understand what it means to President, but I think that he does understand Barack Obama's importance.
Saturday, Jaxson went to a class at the Nature Center called, "Who dunit?" He made a little detective kit, a little book with different animal tracks and then he even made some beaver poop! He was quite the little detective!
Then Saturday night we had very special night with Brook, Amy and Paisley. We have not seen them since last January! Way to long! They stayed for supper and we then chatted while the kids played. Vada, was not feeling 100% so she not in as good of a mood as she could of been, but she did alright. She was a little bit of a bully to Paisley. We brought out Vada's little pink chair and put both Vada and Paisley in the chair and Vada pushed Paisley right out! Paisley was a good sport about it, but it still was not very nice. Vada has a tough time with the whole sharing thing. It was so good to have them over, we are going to have to make a trip over to Eau Claire to see them soon!
Back to a full week at work and Presten's last week of six day work weeks!! YAY!!
Have a great week! The Bean's
