Pigs......"do we really smell??"

This weekend we packed up the crew and head south. Final destination....the Miller/Carlson Farm. Krista's best friend from college moved down near Marshall, Minnesota about a year ago and with our adventurous year we had not gotten down to visit. We didn't realize that she really lives on a farm-with cows and everything. Jaxson thought this was pretty cool. Aaron, Lacey's boyfriend also raises pigs. He houses about 2400 at a time. We had this grand idea that we wanted to show Jaxson the pigs--I guess we really did not know what we were in for! We spent about 5 minutes in the pig barn and came out REALLY smelling like pigs! We got in the car and Presten and I said to each other "do we really smell?"--umm... yep! We got back the house and all had to take showers and Lacey had to wash everything that we were wearing! Not to sure that we will hanging out in the pig pen again anytime soon. :) Lacey and Aaron made a fabulous steak dinner on Saturday night for us and then we spent the rest of the night chatting and reminiscing. Jaxson was his animated self-taking about pirates and spiderman the whole time. Vada was a little bit of stinker when it came to sleeping, so we are hoping that she will make it up to us tonight and sleep through the night-I think we are dreaming! Sunday morning, Lacey us eggs, bacon, money bread, toast-it was soooo good! Then we packed up the car and got everyone loaded and headed home! Now we are all pooped so I think that it will be early out lights tonight!
