Happy Belated Valentine Wishes!

Here is a little taste of our Valentine's Day Feast!

I know...I know...no blog last week!:) I was off from work on Monday and was a little lazy on doing our weekly update.
We have been very busy over the last couple weeks with Valentine Parties, nature center classes, a pirate party, Goodnight Moon theater performance, adventure park indoor playground and Jaxson even had pajama day at school. He wore his Scobby Doo PJ's with his Spiderman slippers, he was more than just a little excited! Jaxson is doing so great at home and school. He is such a great helper and usually a pretty good listener. --unless it is meal time:)
Vada is already 16 months-I cannot even believe it! She continues to show us her little personality! She is still very attached to me and many days thinks that I need to carry her around the house. She loves to play hide and seek with Jaxson and loves it even more when he chases her! Her other favorite past time...climbing! She carries her little stool with her from room to room and climbs on anything she can. We are constantly checking on her..to find out what she is in too or on top of! She is still working on her vocabulary...we have decided that she has her own little "Vada time" and she will start talking more when she wants too. Right now she has pretty much just resorted to screaming at me until I figure out what she wants.
This past Saturday night was our annual moonlight bowling night at Sundance. We headed to Champps for dinner and then off to a night of bowling. I don't think that either of us bowled very well, but really it is more about catching up with friends than actually really bowling. My parents came up for the night to watch the kids. Jaxson and Vada love it when grandma and grandpa come to stay!
Today we went out for lunch at Majors with them before they left and today we have just been working around the house.
Back to a regular week with no Holidays till Memorial Day!- maybe a PTO day!
Have a great week! The Bean's

Daddy's HOME!!

Vada enjoying the signs of Spring in cozy coupe
Daddy's finally home!! Presten left for his annual ice fishing trip on Wednesday and just got back today. I think that we were all very ready for him to be home. We sure missed him! I can't really complain the kids were exceptionally good and I got to spend some really good quality time with them. We even made it through a trip to the grocery store--something I don't attempt very often! It usually turns into a disaster!

Presten had a really good time on his trip- minus the whole dropping his cell phone in the ice hole situation. That's Presten for ya! :) The kids and I went and picked out a new one for him so he would have it when he got home. I was glad when I got there that I had already figured out which one that I was going to get because all Vada wanted to do was wrestle with Jaxson on the floor. Everyone there got in quite few laughs!

Saturday night the kid's stayed over at Sarah's so I could go to a ladies night in at one of the neighbors house. I think we all needed a girls night! We need to do more often!

Well I am exhausted tonight -off to bed!

Have a great week! The Bean's

The CAST is off!!

We have exciting news! Jaxson got his cast off on Wednesday. He was a little scared when the doctor started up the saw, but calmed down once he realized that it just tickled. We are now working on building up his strength and reminding to use his right arm.

On Saturday we went to one of Presten's co-workers son's third birthday. They had it at Pump it Up in Plymouth. They have all these big jumper, slides and obstacle courses. We jumped and jumped and jumped!! The kids had so much fun! Plus we even had pizza and cake- you can't beat that!

Saturday night Tonya, Presten's cousin, had a candle party at her house. I was in need some new candles so I was happy that she was having a party!

Tonight we are just watching the Superbowl. Presten is getting ready for his fishing trip that he leaves for on Wednesday. I don't think that Wednesday can come soon enough for him!

Well we hope that you have a good week...the Bean's!
